Class feedback

During the lesson we received feedback from other class members about our video thus far. The main point that was made was that during our performance scene, the class felt that Our singer (Henry) didn't look convincing playing the guitar and that his lip-syncing wasn't particularly good either. It was suggested by the class that we re-shoot this scene with a different lead singer who can play guitar. It was also suggested to incorporate this new footage we would also have to re-shoot the narrative based scenes, the "break up"scene for example.

In response to this feedback we have decided to split the project in two with me directing the narrative based scenes, and Charlie directing the performance based ones. The reasoning behind this is that it's felt the video would look better if I wasn't the singer but could still be used as an actor in the narrative scenes of the video.

Some other feedback we received was that we could show why the couple split up in the narrative based scenes. Personally I don't like this idea because it wouldn't fit the lyric "think about you wonder what went wrong"and to me you don't use the word "wonder" then show what happened. Plus not showing why the couple break up adds enigma and leaves the piece open to audience interpretation.
